Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is recruiting 1140 candidates for the post of “Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer Grad II)” and “Head Constable (Ministerial)”. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribedApplication Form. Qualification norms and brief information is given below—

CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE (CRPF) REQUIRES 1140 ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER GRADE II) AND HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL). LAST DATE: 19TH DECEMBER 2012.

1. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer Grade-II): 245 Nos. (Gen—113; OBC—63; SC—77; ST—26). Out of them Ex-Serviceman – 24nos.
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent
Skill Test: Dictation of 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute  and Translation of 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi)
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2800/-

2. Head Constable (Ministerial): 895 Nos. (Gen—318; OBC—263; SC—111; ST—203). Out of them Ex-Serviceman—63nos. and Departmental Candidates—263nos.
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent.
Skill Test: Typing on computer at speed of 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute  in Hindi.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2400/-

Physical Standards:—
For Male candidates: Height—165cms (162.5 for ST); Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 77cm/82cms; weight — proportional to height and age.

For female candidates: Height—155cms (154cms for ST); Weight—proportional to height and age.

Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 19/12/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Others—as per norms.

Selection of candidates will be through documents verification, Written Examination and Practical Test. Qualified candidates will sit for Interview and Finally medical fitness test. (Refer the Advt. for details)
Tentative schedule of Examination/ Test  – 17/01/2013 to 10/03/2013 and Practical Test – 15/04/2013 to 22/04/2013.

How to Apply: Candidates must apply on prescribed Application Form. The Application Form should be addressed to the concerned DIGP, Group Centre, should be sent to any one of the listed centres where he/she desire to appear for examination.

Application Form should be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials and certificates in support of age proof, caste, qualification and Etc. Attestation should be made from Gazetted Officer only.

Application fee: Candidates should prepare Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs.30 drawn in the name ofDIGP, GC-CRPF to whom the application is addressed /sent payable at respective Head Post Office at that location.
However SC/ST candidates are not required to attach postal orders.
